Omaha’s close proximity to Offutt Air Force Base makes it a great location for military families to setting down and settle into civilian life. As U.S.A.F. personnel redeploy from their assignments all over the globe, they must make quite a few decisions abouut where to relocate a family for the long haul. They definitely need to consider the Omaha area.
The people of Omaha do a great job of balancing city life with the casual country lifestyle. There’s a down home feeling among the residents of Omaha, probably because of its roots in farming.
